Filter and find ESPORG and TAPA certified secure parkings (SSTPA)

Finding a safe and secure parking just became easier. You can now find ESPORG and TAPA certified parkings with the tap of a button.

All publicly known certified Safe and Secure Truck Parking Areas (SSTPA) are indexed by our team of specialists. Besides the ESPORG and TAPA filters the Truck Parking Europe app and webapp offer the possibility to filter parking areas based on CCTV (camera), Fence, Guard and or Floodlighting. In addition to these security filters, you can also select a diverse set of comfort and infrastructure facilities. Ensuring a safe and comfortable rest period.

“We recognise the request from our users to easily find certified parkings. This is another step in the right direction; next step is adding the levels of the certification. Which is due to their differences not as easy as we would have hoped.” according to Niels de Zwaan, Managing Director Truck Parking Europe. The diverse set of levels of ESPORG and the TAPA will be added to the Truck Parking Europe app at a later stage.

About ESPORG

ESPORG (European Secure Parking Organisation) is an organisation that provides a toolkit to interested parking area operators to enhance safety and security. ESPORG offers a certification that covers security and services. It distinguishes 5 levels, 1 until 5 locks, where 5 locks is the highest level of security. ESPORG states that from 3 locks onward a parking can be named secure.

About the TAPA

The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is an association of security professionals and related business partners from various manufacturing and transportation companies who have come together for the purpose of addressing the emerging security threats that are common to the relevant industries. The TAPA introduced a Parking Security Requirement (PSR). There are three ways to participate in the scheme. As a Parking Security Partner (TAPA Partner), by Self-Certification (Max Level 3) or by having an audit for a PSR Certificate which is based on 3 levels. Level 1, 2, 3, where level 1 is considered as the highest level of security.
